The launch of More Ads 4 U .com has benefits beyond a new look and feel. Our improved site architecture and navigation drive depth and frequency of user visits, making content more accessible for users. In addition, by reducing the clutter and number of ad units on our pages, we have created for our advertisers an improved space where their marketing messages more clearly resonate with consumers.

About accepts GIFs, JPEGs, HTML, JavaScript, Shockwave, Flash (through MX), Real Video, Shoshkeles, Eyeblaster, Unicast, Ad4ever, Eyewonder, Enliven, Bluestreak, Viewpoint, PointRoll, AdInterax, Motif and we are always willing to consider new vendors not listed herein. Third-party redirects are accepted after testing.

About uses Doubleclick DART to serve all ad banners and buttons. All clients receive usernames and passwords to access real-time reporting. For instructions on click-tracking with Flash, click here.

All ad units, including intrusive ad units are served through an Iframe. If you are using a rich media other than the ones listed below, please contact your About Account Executive to ensure compatibility with our tagging.
Overpage Overlay:

  • Initial Play: Max creative area of 600x600, close button must be easily visible.
  • 15 second timeout.
  • Leave-behind: Max creative area of 150x150, close button must be easily visible.
  • 10 second timeout.
  • Polite Download File size 150K inclusive of both the initial play and the leave-behind.
  • Non-Polite Download File Size 30K.
  • All specs are for initial download only.
  • Eyeblaster, Ad4ever, Shoshkeles, AdInterax, BlueLayer, Viewpoint, Motif, PointRoll accepted.

  • Initial load must conform to our specifications - as an example - 728x90 has a 20K spec. This might be broken out as: 3K for PointRoll code, 17K for both HTML (for all panels) and graphics for initial creative visual. The subsequent load can be larger - up to 30K additional is acceptable.
  • We accept the Bad Boy, Towel Boy, and Fat Boy formats.

Unicast Video Commercial

  • 2 MB maximum file size.

  • Completely pre-cached: 30 frames/second plays perfectly every time.
  • Interactive - can include interaction and click-through from within the ad.
  • Consumer controlled: always contains "Close Commercial" language, active video and corner "X" close controls, and site headers.
  • Played transitionally as consumers move between pages.

Solo Emails:

  • Client needs to provide both HTML Format & Text Format for Solo Emails.

HTML Format:

  • 575 Width x variable height (suggested range 480 - 960)
  • Size: No more than 25K
  • Code: Must be error-free. No Java, JavaScript, frames, ActiveX, dynamic HTML, meta tags, cascading style sheets or body background or image color.

Text Format:

  • Up to 25 lines, character limit 70 per line
  • 10 unique links maximum for HTML and text. Client needs to provide
  • Subject Line for the Email - 60 characters maximum

Superlist Sponsorship Newsletter
HTML Format:

  • One 140x40 logo image - File Size: 10K max
  • Two 468x60 banners or 2 text ads or a combination of the two.
  • Click-thru URL's for all offers
  • Maximum of 3 links can be tracked per Newsletter (one for each creative)
